8. Goal and objectives Goal: Empowering of rice farmers by allowing the use of part of funds from import tax of rice to finance the rice value chain
Obj.: Establish linkage and network of flow of credit from the taxation of imported rice towards the procurement and disbursement of inputs
To empower rice farmers by providing credit for seasonal inputs (made available at the milling factories) and guarantee/insurance (made available at the banks)
