About WFP

The World Food Program (WFP) is a major humanitarian organization that provides food assistance in emergencies, works with communities to improve nutrition and build resilience. By 2030, the international community is committed to eliminating hunger, achieving food security and improving nutrition. One in nine people in the world still cannot eat enough. Food and food-related support is at the heart of the struggle to break the cycle of hunger and poverty.
