SC 14 meeting, October 2018
The 14th CARD Steering Committee Meeting was held in Tokyo, Japan on 4th October 2018. Co-chaired by FAO (the outgoing Chairman) and African Development Bank (the incoming Chairman), the meeting was attended by the representatives from 10 SC member organizations, namely, AfDB, AfricaRice, AGRA, FAO, IFAD, IRRI, JICA, JIRCAS, NEPAD, World Bank and newly approved member organizations WFP and COMESA.
The objectives of the meeting;
- To review the Management and Operational Guideline of CARD ahead of CARD Phase 2.
- To discuss the contents of High-Level Forum on CARD scheduled for 5thOctober, 2018
- To discuss the organization of the side event of TICAD7
