TICAD VIII Side Event, August 2022
TICAD8 CARD side event is now open for registration
(Virtual, 22nd August 2022)
The 8th Tokyo International Conference for African Development (TICAD8) will be held in Tunis, Tunisia on 27th and 28th August this year. A series of side events will be organized by multiple organizations. One for CARD will be organized by JICA and AGRA. In response to the recent global situation, the importance of food security will be emphasized, and we believe that CARD’s role is becoming increasingly important.

- What should each stakeholder in each region and country consider and implement to promote the rice sector development and achieve self-sufficiency in rice production, in order to contribute to overall food security in Africa?
- What should be CARD’s role in this regard, and what shall be expected of CARD in terms of outcomes?
