Self-sufficiency: Self-sufficiency ratio: FAOSTAT Food Balance Sheet (figures for 2022). Self-sufficiency ratio is calculated using the definition of FAO: Production / (Production + Imports – Exports) x 100. Imports, Exports, Consumptions and Cons/Capita: FAOSTAT Food Balance Sheet (figures for 2022). Data are converted from paddy to milled rice equivalent, using the rate of 0.667, which is also used by FAOSTAT. Consumption refers to the element “Food” in Food Balance Sheet.
