Paddy production, Area, and Yield: Phase 1 Baseline: NRDS (figures for 2008); Phase 2 Baseline: Monitoring and Evaluation study (figures for 2018); Current: Monitoring and Evaluation study (figures for 2023); 2030 Target: NRDS2 (figures for 2030)

Self-sufficiency: Self-sufficiency ratio, Imports and Exports: Monitoring and Evaluation study (figures for 2023). Self-sufficiency ratio is calculated using the definition of FAO: Production / (Production + Imports – Exports) x 100. Consumption and Cons/Capita: FAOSTAT Food Balance Sheet (figures for 2022). Data are converted from paddy to milled rice equivalent, using the rate of 0.667, which is also used by FAOSTAT. Consumption refers to the element “Food” in Food Balance Sheet.
