JICA Tsukuba 2016
JICA Knowledge Co-Creation program, “Promotion of African Rice Development for Sub-Saharan Countries”, Tsukuba, Japan, 24 September – 21 October 2016
The first year of three-year Knowledge Co-Creation program on “Promotion of African Rice Development for Sub-Saharan Countries” is organized by JICA Tsukuba International Center in collaboration with the CARD Secretariat. One program is conducted for two weeks in a row; the first course for seven Anglophone CARD member countries and the second course for six Francophone CARD member countries. Each country delegates consists of two government high rank officials representing “policy planning, implementation, management and operation of rice marketing infrastructures” and/or CARD/NRDS Task Force.
The objective of the program : Technical Capacity of the participating organization has been improved for implementation of the National Rice Development Strategy (NRDS) as well as policy planning, implementation, management and operation of rice marketing infrastructures.
